Role in the project
Linset is a design, prototyping, testing, and research center for the maritime sector located in the Adriatic region. It engages in the activities of study, design, and innovation in the field of composites, particularly within the maritime/naval sector. Linset works not only for shipyards but also collaborates with leading companies producing the raw materials used in the industry.
Overall Goal
The ENA project, subsidized under the European Union’s environmental financial instrument, LIFE+, aims primarily to enhance the environmental performance of SMEs in the “Marche Maritime District” by organically and fundamentally integrating eco-design (Directive 2005/32/EC), Carbon Footprint (Ecological footprint), environmental management with eco-management, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) from the design phase onward. This integration is aimed at reducing polluting elements in the production process, applying the best available techniques and technologies to reduce waste quantity and hazardousness, as well as achieving energy savings in the production of Eco-Boats
